Friday evening, starting at 7:00 pm, saw loads of action at the school at a time when there generally wouldn’t be any. Under the stewardship and guidance of Claire Hussey, some parents, children and teachers worked tirelessly for a few hours to tidy up the school garden. Flower beds were weeded and tidied up; stray errant grass was cut and strimmed; even a little watering hole was made – sorry folks, not THAT kind of watering hole! At one stage, Mr Fallon even met who he thought was Mr Dervan’s long lost twin brother – check out the photos below.
Check out the wonderful work done by everyone there. And a ma-who-sive “Go raibh míle maith agaibh” to all who helped on the evening, especially Claire.
